The Town administers land use ordinances and building codes in order to ensure that Tabiona grows in a safe and orderly way.
Permits protect your home and family. The purpose behind building codes is to give reasonable assurance that a home is safe from structural failure, fire hazards from electrical and heating systems, electrical shock and health risks. The permits provide a permanent record of the work performed and inspections conducted on the project.
The Tabiona development application form at the link below is available for download. Please submit completed applications and supporting documentation to the Town by mail or in-person. This form should be used for building permits, planning and zoning amendments, site plans, subdivisions, conditional use permits, and annexation petitions.
Any person engaging in business within Tabiona must first register with the state and obtain a license from the Town prior to conducting business.
All licenses must be renewed on an annual basis on or before the due date established by the Town for that business location.
